Be cool to each other. Here are the details on what that means.

Expected Behavior

Everyone at RCC (attendees, speakers, trainers, sponsors, staff) is expected to:

  • Treat all individuals with respect and consideration
  • Communicate constructively and professionally
  • Respect differing viewpoints, experiences, and technical approaches
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech
  • Alert conference organizers if you witness or experience a violation of this policy

Unacceptable Behavior

None of this will be tolerated:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Verbal or written abuse, including offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or technical ability
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome following
  • Unauthorized photography or recording of individuals
  • Sustained disruption of talks, workshops, or other conference events
  • Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors

We handle reports discreetly and take them seriously. Every single one.

Responsible Disclosure

This is a security research conference, so yes, sensitive material will be discussed. Speakers must follow responsible disclosure and not present anything that could directly cause harm. Not sure if your talk is okay? Ask us beforehand.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Here's what we collect and why.

What we collect: Your email if you sign up for notifications. If you register for the event, we'll also ask for your name, affiliation, and dietary needs for logistics.

What we do with it: Conference communications and logistics. That's it. We don't sell or share your info with anyone.

How long we keep it: Notification emails are kept until the event is over or until you ask us to remove them. Registration data is kept up to 12 months after the event.

Your rights: Want to see, correct, or delete your data? Email contact@rivieracongress.org anytime.

Cookies: We don't use cookies or third-party tracking. No analytics that collect personal data.
